Reigning Canadian Grand Masters fiddle champion Daniel Gervais is a master of a variety of fiddle styles and classical violin. Daniel is the first and only Albertan to win the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle Championship. Daniel completed a Master of Music degree at the University of Alberta and currently teaches as sessional faculty at MacEwan University.
Ben Plotnick is one of Canada's most in-demand touring and session fiddle players. Amidst touring projects "The Fretless", "Sarah Jane Scouten", and his duo with cellist Kaitlyn Raitz, Ben released a solo Texas Swing record in 2016 called "Greenland" to critical acclaim. He now lives in Nashville, TN, playing equal parts bluegrass, swing, old time and folk music.
